The Estonian Basketball Federation, Fenix Casino and sports betting portal FenixBet signed a new sponsorship agreement during the dramatic World Cup qualifier between Estonia and the Czech Republic to support the Estonian men’s basketball team for the next three years with 180 000 Euros.
The sponsorship agreement between the Estonian Basketball Federation, Fenix Casino and FenixBet has been signed for the years 2026-2028 and its main focus is on a successful performance in the 2027 World Championship qualifying matches and, of course, continuous development at home in view of the 2029 European Championship finals.
According to Priit Sarapuu, President of the Estonian Basketball Federation, the new three-year sponsorship agreement will give the Estonian national team additional security. “The Estonian men’s basketball team, and basketball in general, is going through good times, which is good news, but we are certainly not going to become proud and we will continue to work very purposefully,” commented Priit Sarapuu.
“The Estonian Basketball Federation and the men’s national team have the big goal of a successful performance at the 2029 European Championship at home, which requires a lot of work and resources, and we are very grateful that Fenix Casino and FenixBet will continue to be with us,” Sarapuu added.
Fenix Casino has been supporting the Estonian men’s basketball team since 2023, and the addition of sports betting portal FenixBet as a partner will allow the support to be further increased over the next three years.
